Snapdragon Processors

Qualcomm Snapdragon Processors

(Use of Snapdragon in Androids)

By Utkarsh

Hello everyone, today after many months, I will be trying my best to make you understand, what is snapdragon. But before I just start exploding on the topic, let's understand, what is qualcomm?

Qualcomm is an American MNC, headquartered in San Diego, California and is incorporated in Delaware. It is the company  which creates semiconductors, softwares and other services related to wireless technology. The various products of Qualcomm are CDMA/WCDMA chipsets, Snapdragon, BREW, OmniTRACS, MediaFLO, QChat, mirasol displays, uiOne, Gobi, Qizx, CPU. And here, we will be focusing upon Snapdragon. So let's begin.

Snapdragon is a suite of system on chip (SoC) semiconductor products for mobile, tablets, and smartbook devices designed and marketed by Qualcomm Technologies Inclusive. Basically, Snapdragon is kind of a processor or say it's a CPU (Central Processing Unit) that uses ARM architecture. ARM processors are one of a family of CPUs based on the RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) developed by ARM (Advanced RISC Machines).

Currently, there are many companies, responsible for creating mobile processors. Some of them are as follows: Apple Bionic SoC, Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, Samsung Exynos SoC, MediaTek SoC, HiSilicon Kirin SoC, etc.

Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platforms are designed to be fast, intelligent, smooth and secure with amazing graphics. These processors with multi core CPU with extra ordinary features and support for worldwide network connectivity with jaw-dropping speeds and unbelievable power efficiency.

Smartphones and mobile devices built with Snapdragon mobile platforms enable immersive AR (augmented reality) with VR (Virtual Reality) experiences, brilliant camera capabilities, superior 4G LTE and 5G connectivity, and the latest security solutions.

Snapdragon semiconductors are embedded in devices of various systems like android, windows, iPhones and netbooks. They are also used in cars, wearable devices and other devices. In addition to the processors, it includes modems, Wifi chips and mobile charging products.

There are various mobile phone companies that uses Snapdragon processors, some of them are Asus, iQOO, Lenovo, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, Samsung, Sony, Vivo, Xiaomi, etc.

The role of technology in education is that technology provides students with easy-to-access information, accelerated learning, and fun opportunities to practice what they learn. It enables students to explore new subjects and deepen their understanding of difficult concepts, particularly in 'STEM'.

'STEM' stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics but it;s more than that. STEM has grown to represent a unique approach to teaching and learning, one that centers around individual students' learning styles and interests. This means STEM education has something to offer every student.

Qualcomm has its passive effect on education by contributing into the devices for modern learning. With the growth of hybrid learning, educators and students need the flexibility to teach and learn anywhere, whether they are remote or in the classroom. Snapdragon powered laptops can provide a reliable, always connected solution with incredible battery life, enterprise-grade security and modern device management. Now administrators and parents can remain flexible, empowering students and teachers virtually anywhere.

Thank you.
